Red Workspace

Type of project: Office Fit Out

Green Envee was brought in by Red Workspace to bring life to an office at Butler's Wharf, with views straight across the Thames to Tower Bridge. The space was due to be leased, and needed to feel welcoming, considered and ready for its next occupant. The project involved 60 end-of-desk planters, plus artificial trees and planting throughout.

Brief

Sixty planters. Every corner covered.

Red Workspace needed greenery across the whole office, not just the best-lit areas. The brief called for:

  • 60 end-of-desk planters across the workspace
  • Artificial trees and planting to brighten darker corners
  • A calm, cohesive look that suited a premium London location

Challenge

Big scale, big view, and no room for error.

  • Scale: Installing 60 planters and additional planting across one office needed careful planning and coordination.
  • Light: Some areas had plenty of natural light, while others were much darker, so the planting had to work in both.
  • The view: With Tower Bridge on the doorstep, the greenery needed to complement the outlook rather than compete with it.

Solution

A workspace that feels calm, considered and special

Green Envee selected planting styles to suit each part of the office. Artificial planting meant the space would look fresh year-round, with no watering or replacements, ideal for an office being presented to prospective tenants.

The installation was delivered by Alastair Elves and Rebecca Kilfoyle of Green Envee, working alongside the Red Workspace team.
