Type of project: School Project
Bishop’s Stortford College in Hertfordshire partnered with Green Envee and Hunts Furniture to transform its cafeteria into a more welcoming and enjoyable environment for students.
By introducing vibrant artificial planting into the existing room divider planters, we helped refresh the space, adding colour and greenery to create a more inviting setting for students to relax and socialise between lessons.
Refreshing the Cafeteria with Practical, Lasting Greenery
Working alongside Hunts Furniture, Green Envee was tasked with revitalising the college cafeteria using artificial plants within the room divider planters.
The aim was to enhance the overall appearance of the space, introduce natural-looking greenery and create a more attractive environment for students, without the ongoing maintenance requirements associated with living plants.
ChallengeRevitalising a Tired and Uninviting Environment
The cafeteria had become less appealing, with existing living plants deteriorating and the overall atmosphere lacking vibrancy.
The challenge was to introduce fresh colour and greenery that would complement the existing furniture, improve the visual appeal of the space and provide a long-lasting solution suitable for a busy educational environment.
SolutionBringing Colour, Greenery and New Life to the Space
Green Envee supplied and installed vibrant artificial planting within the room divider planters, working collaboratively with Hunts Furniture to achieve a cohesive finish.
The new planting introduced colour, texture and visual interest, helping to transform the cafeteria into a fresher, more inviting space for students to enjoy throughout the school day.
Artificial plants provide a realistic, low-maintenance alternative to living greenery, eliminating the need for watering and routine horticultural care while maintaining a consistent appearance.
